GH fans, do you just hate it that the writers just cut Sonny out of the storyline?

Carly gets to emote! Jason gets to get all teary! Sonny is missing?? Maurice Bernard will never get a best actor award because the writers always do this to his character. This could have been a really powerful scene for him but he's not even at the hospital!
