Isnt it really good to be fat (not morbidly obese just fat)?

I mean in other cultures of the world fat is considered attractive because it shows that you have the wealth to eat and arent starving. People back in the day would wish they could get fat and usually only wealthy people got fat, also in the event of a famine the fattest people would live the longest. Now im not talking morbid obesity because then its too much and henders your movement. But being thick is actually not a bad thing we have all been brainwashed in this country.
