If liberals are socialist, then America is socialist, so?

There are virtues of almost any political belief system. All of the things you mentioned are indeed GOOD things. But raising taxes on hard working Americans, lowering our defense budgets, insisting that a mother murdering her unborn baby is a choice, and siding with the enemy if it means justifying your cause is NOT what I would call good for our country. Neither is giving our enemies a deadline for our commitments, cutting and running because the going got tough, and bad mouthing your own country.
