Hamlet setting act 1 scene 4?

The setting here is not as important as the two friends. The setting should be a place where some danger could come to Hamlet, because Marcellus and Horatio are afraid the ghost might be some fiend from hell come to lure Hamlet to his death. It is these two friends with their misgivings that sets up the rest of the play. Hamlet says "I'll go with him," and they say "What are you? Nuts?!" Hamlet has not even considered the possibility of this ghost doing him harm becaue he wants to see his father again. His friends create the next three hours; otherwise the play would last 45 minutes.
