Seen some mad star looking thing in the sky at night?

i was walking across berrisford park fields in hull in yorkshire england around or beetween 11 n 1 early hours ov the morning with me dog n anothere kid when i fixed me eyes on at first was just 2 stars near each othere the 1 of thee,s 2 stars seemed to grow like at least twice the size of when i 1st set eyes on it my mate was about 30 seconds in walking time infront of me i shouted can u see that n he replyed instantly to me what u mean that star thing then i new we had both seen it but this thing what ever it was it dident move 4 a very long time but it deffently growed at least twice its size from 1st seeing what was it any 1 seen anything like that b4 id say grow 2 doulble size of north star this happened about 6 month ago sep oct november time 2010.n when i said about the movement of it what i mean is it dident move across kinder way it give thee afect that it was coming towards us becouse of it growing
