Appetizers?

I have to take a dish to my uncles 50th birthday party. We are looking for something different simple but really good. Does anyone have any ideas. I am hoping so. We are tired of meat in bbq sauce with the little weiners. Something good folks. Thanks in advance. Has to go good with beer. LOL
