Is it morally/religously right?
recently, on facebook i saw a group 'draw mohammed day'. Now, im not discouraging freedom of speech, as some call it, but isnt and arent there limits?. Muslims are, yes, socially challenged, and yes, some cause havoc around the world, but really? Does a few hundred extremists, against a billion or more other muslims, speak as the majority?. Ok, the pictures of just muhammad (pbuh) standing or saying irrelevant comments we can handle, but images of him as a lego figure, having , and pictures depicting him as a pig, and changing our holy chant to 'allahu OINKbar' and images of him with s and other outrageous insults are just TOTALLY bang out of order! You dont see muslims drawing pictures of other religious symbols or holy figures, then mocking or insulting them at THAT level do you?!...i mean, damn, theres a LIMIT right, and since when does a minority speak for the group? Is this another plight to lower muslims, andto disgrace them, to wipe them off the face of Earth?..other religions speak of respect, and honour, and in the face of it all, muslims are the only ones who are just taking everything in, while they recieve flaling punches to the jaw, and you expect us not to retaliate...and this is all explained in the Qur'an, written centuries ago, saying that these exact events will occur...so what are muslims meant to do, sit there and tolerate it?..OTHER religions wouldnt!
